Innlink Concrete Ltd. is one hundred aboriginal owned and operated by members of the Moose Cree First Nation. We have ties with families and relatives from the Pagwa River Area near Hearst, Ontario.
We strive for self-determination and sustainability in the mainstream business sector. This is evident in the positive working relationship we have with the main companies in our area such as the Town of Moosonee, Moosonee Transportation Limited and Moose Cree First Nation. Innlink is looking at the advantages and potential growth in the Treaty Number Nine area within the next five years. It is here that we will continue to work on developing a positive working relationship so that we can reach our goal of being recognized as another major First Nation company in the area and future leaders in the road construction and Forestry.
The Innes family has been in the construction field for more than twenty five years in the James Bay, Cochrane and Constance Lake area. The majority of the construction and heavy equipment operations were taught by our late father Eric Innes. He had an extensive knowledge and understanding of and about the construction field. With his assistance and encouragement we decided to pursue a Cree owned business in this field.
Innlink Concrete Ltd was formed in 1998 after we purchased the company previously known as Ascineecan Ready Mix from Moosonee Transportation Limited out of Moosoneel, On They were the only concrete supplier in the area prior to the purchase. Over the last ten years, Innlink Concrete Ltd. diversified to heavy equipment rentals to providing transportation services for the regional Hospital and Local High Schools.
Innlink is a First Nation Company that is expanding its operations to further enhance its business and partnerships. As we just previously rented an office in the Cochrane area, so that we can benefit from the potential mining growth in the treaty nine area.
