A 100% Indigenous-owned construction, aggregate and concrete company based in Moosonee and Moose Factory, Ontario, with an administrative office in Cochrane. Established 1998.
Thirty years out of Moose Factory.
Innlink Concrete Ltd. started in 1998 and is a Member of Moose Cree. It is run from Moose Factory. It began with aggregate and grew into the company that supplies the concrete, moves the material and builds the roads across the Moosonee and Moose Factory area.
Wayne Innes Sr. is President and a co-owner. Caroline Innes is Office Manager and a co-owner, and runs the Moose Factory office.Today it employs more than 70 people, most of them from Moosonee and Moose Factory, operates a licensed limestone quarry and two Concrete Ontario certified batch plants, and runs its own health and safety department. The work goes from a driveway in town to watermain rehabilitation, airport civil works, river dredging and the hospital.
The company.
Innlink Concrete Ltd. was established in 1998 and is a Member of Moose Cree. The company is a CCIB (formerly CCAB) Certified Aboriginal Business. In November 2025 it was awarded the Wetum Road 2025/26 contract.
Innlink employs more than 70 people, the majority from Moosonee and Moose Factory, and operates its own Health and Safety department with a dedicated safety coordinator.
The company's work includes watermain and sanitary sewer rehabilitation, road construction and drainage, site preparation, staff housing services, airport civil works, river dredging, ready-mix concrete supply and the Wetum Road winter road.
Facilities.
Licensed limestone quarry
On-site crushing and screening. Products: 1" minus and 4" minus crushed limestone, Granular A, Granular B Type I and 500 mm rip rap to OPSS. Additional licensed pits at Long Lake (Licence 9509) and Island Lake (Licence 9583).
Two concrete batch plants
Concrete Ontario certified ready-mix production at 70 Mistik Blvd, Moosonee, and in Moose Factory. Batch control system upgraded March 2026. Concrete supply contract with WAHA for the hospital project, 2026.
Computerized weigh scale
Every load weighed, numbered, timestamped, GPS-tracked and photographed. 11,655 tickets in the twelve months to date. Per-load reporting available to owners and engineers.
Haul fleet
Tandem and tri-axle dump trucks, step decks and articulated off-road haulers. Peak day: 4,004 tonnes in 130 loads (3 June 2026). Peak month: 37,751 tonnes (May 2026).
Excavators, loaders and dozers
Hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, articulated dump trucks, compaction and grading equipment, and dewatering pumps for wet excavations.
Staff accommodation
Company housing in Moosonee for crews mobilized from outside the community.
Management

Runs the office at Moose Factory. Purchasing, accounts and the paperwork behind every contract, from WSIB clearances to the certificates that go out with a bid.
Member of Moose Cree. Sits on the contracts and the direction of the company alongside Wayne and Caroline.
Responsible for pricing, contracts, logistics and the winter road program. First point of contact for all projects.
25 years with Innlink, 15 as superintendent. Site supervision from the hospital early works to the Wetum Road.
Day to day supervision across the Moosonee and Moose Factory work, from the quarry and the batch plants to the crews on site.
Certified engineering technologist with a municipal inspection background (Town of Moosonee, Red Lake, West Lincoln). Estimating, quantities, certificates and owner liaison.
