Innlink employs more than 70 people, most of them from Moosonee and Moose Factory. The company hires locally first, trains on the job and provides accommodation for staff from outside the community.
Positions.
Heavy equipment operators
Excavators, loaders, dozers, articulated haul trucks and graders on civil sites, at the quarry and on the winter road.
Truck drivers
AZ and DZ drivers for the 34-truck aggregate and heavy-haul fleet.
Crusher tower operators
Operation of the crushing and screening plant.
Batch plant and concrete crew
Batch operators, plant foreman, formers and finishers.
Mechanics
Heavy-duty and truck mechanics for the fleet and plant.
Labourers and flag persons
Entry-level positions with training toward operator and trade roles.
Water operator in training
Innlink sponsors local staff through the Ontario Operator-in-Training examination for watermain and sanitary work.
Administration, HR and safety
Bookkeeping, dispatch, scale house, human resources and health and safety coordination in Moosonee and Cochrane.
